I just picked this up Friday and cannot wait to get started! Jasper Fforde is on my very short list of must-read authors. The Thursday Next series has been so much fun to read and I am happy to see he added another book to the series but also sad to see that it will be the last. That said, I do appreciate that he is deliberate when it comes to the lifecycle of his book series.
Here's the official overview from Jasper Fforde himself. I have read each and every one of his books and he never disappoints. I found this quote from the Nation's High School newspaper (USA Today) - "Richly crammed with jokes, ideas, and action. Brainier silliness is hard to find." - which sums up his style perfectly. Settle in for a fun read!
